Bankhandi : D.A.V. Public School, Bankhandi, witnessed a vibrant celebration of philately as students participated in a special examination organized under the Deendayal SPARSH Yojana by the Indian Postal Department. The initiative aims to spark interest in stamp collection among students while connecting them to India’s rich history, culture, and heritage.
Students from Classes VI to IX took part in the examination. Postal officials from Dehra, Mr. Sumit Sharma and Mr. Nikhil, were present to oversee the event and address the students. They emphasized that the scheme not only enhances knowledge but also nurtures discipline, patience, and curiosity about history and culture. The officials encouraged students to continue participating actively in the coming years.
School Principal Mr. Subhash Sharma extended heartfelt thanks to the postal department, stating that such initiatives serve as milestones in holistic student development and inspire children to reach new heights.
