Shahpur – During his visit to Shahpur, Union Minister of State for Highways, Shri Harsh Malhotra, was warmly welcomed by BJP’s committed grassroots leader, Shrey Awasthi. Despite his packed schedule, Shri Malhotra took out nearly 30 minutes to engage in a meaningful dialogue with Awasthi at the Shahpur Rest House.
On this occasion, Shrey Awasthi presented his self-authored book “Himachal’s Youth: Beyond Government Jobs” to the Hon’ble Minister, who appreciated the thoughtful initiative and extended his blessings to the young leader.
The meeting was also attended by prominent local figures including noted folk artist Abhinav Nag, businessman Nitin Kaushal, and Shahpur Bazaar Bachao Samiti member Tanuj Mahajan. The delegation highlighted key concerns related to the ongoing four-lane highway construction and its impact on the local populace.
Minister Malhotra listened attentively and assured the gathering that all issues raised would be taken seriously and necessary steps would be taken to resolve them at the earliest.
The visit marked a productive interaction between the Union leadership and local stakeholders, reinforcing the government’s commitment to listening to the grassroots and ensuring inclusive development.
