NSS Unit Organizes 5-Day Open Donation Drive

Dharamshala — The NSS unit of Government College, Dharamshala, organized a five-day open donation drive from October 22 to October 26. The initiative aimed to provide relief to those in need during Diwali and the upcoming winter season.
The drive received enthusiastic participation from the local community, who donated clothing and books. These contributions were distributed in slum areas such as Kotwali, Chetru, and Charan. Around 100 NSS volunteers actively participated, assisting with collecting, packaging, and distributing the donated items.
Program Officers Pooja Sandal (Unit 2) and Professor Nishesh Kumar (Unit 1) played vital roles in making this event successful. This drive fostered a sense of unity and cooperation within the community and provided students an opportunity to take an active role in helping those in need.
The NSS unit of Government College, Dharamshala, is committed to promoting social responsibility and instilling a spirit of service among students. The college administration remains dedicated to supporting such initiatives to bring positive change to society.
