Rohru’s Anushka Dutta crowned Miss Universe Himachal, will represent Himachal for national title

Anushka Dutta, a 22-year-old girl from Rohru in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh, has been crowned Miss Universe Himachal-2024 and she would be representing the state in the Miss Universe India contest to be organised soon.
Famous Bollywood actor Preity Zinta and cricketer Renuka Thakur also belong to Rohru. Anushka was crowned Miss Universe Himachal at a contest organised on Saturday (August 17, 2024). The final auditions were held at the opulent Hotel by Ferns and Petal, drawing numerous aspirants from across the state. The event saw young women from various parts of Himachal Pradesh competing for the coveted title, each hoping to represent their state on the national stage.
The competition was fierce, with around 20 contestants from Himachal Pradesh vying for the title. Anushka’s win not only highlights her talent and determination, but also brings pride to her hometown Rohru. She will now compete against other state winners from across the country for the prestigious national crown.
Interestingly, Anushka was also a member of ‘Feet of Fire’, a dance group. Feet of Fire Chief Managing Director Amit Bhatia extended his heartfelt best wishes to Anushka as she embarks on this extraordinary journey. The Miss Universe India finals would see Anushka Dutta competing at the national level, showcasing the beauty, grace and cultural richness of Himachal Pradesh on a larger platform, said Bhatia.
