In addition to the leadership roles, several other members have been elected to contribute to various initiatives. The executive members at the state level include Moti Lal, Rekha Sharma, Ganesh Kumar, Alpana Jamwal and Hem Surya.

This newly elected team is set to drive YouVAH’s mission of engaging youth in voluntary actions, promoting social welfare and contributing to the development of Himachal Pradesh.
YouVAH, officially registered under the Himachal Pradesh Act 2006 (Act No. 25) with registration ID ‘HPCD-8391,’ was established by current and former NSS volunteers from various colleges across the state.

During the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020, the NGO gained recognition through its ‘Mission Digital Corona Awareness’ campaign. Following this success, the volunteers decided to create a platform for unified action in social upliftment.

The organisation aims to engage youth in community service, fostering personality and skill development. Key objectives include youth development, promoting volunteerism, collaborating with organizations for social welfare, preserving Himachali culture, raising awareness on social issues, advocating for tribal rights, and working towards global peace, brotherhood and national integration.

YouVAH is currently focused on two major initiatives: ‘Mission Saksham’, which encourages organ donation, and ‘Mission Gyanodaya’, which collects and donates old books to libraries and students in need. As part of these missions, YouVAH volunteers also provide free tuition classes to children from slum areas.
