Bharmour
Varun Sharma, son of Rajesh Sharma and a resident of Bharmour Panchayat in the tribal region of Bharmour, has brought pride to his hometown by securing second place in the 100-meter race at the Under-14 State-Level Sports Competition held in Dharamshala. His stellar performance earned him a silver medal and a well-deserved selection for the upcoming national-level championship.
On Thursday, Varun received a grand welcome upon his return to Bharmour. The Chaurasi Vyapar Mandal (Traders’ Association) organized a felicitation ceremony, adorning him with flower garlands and presenting him with a memento in recognition of his achievement.
The event was graced by Chaurasi Vyapar Mandal President Ranjit Sharma, Senior Vice Presidents Kalu Sharma, Azad Sharma, Tilak Sharma, Rajesh Sharma, and Madan Pakhretia. Senior member Desh Raj Sharma, General Secretary Sumit Thakur, along with other office bearers and members of the association, were also present to honor the young athlete.
