Cabinet-ranked Chairman of the Tourism Development Corporation and Nagrota Bagwan MLA, RS Bali, inaugurated a one-day youth sports competition in Malan on Sunday. Addressing the gathering, Bali emphasized that sports foster discipline and a spirit of healthy competition among youth. He urged every young individual to actively participate in at least one form of sport.
Organized by Yuva Club Malan, the event saw enthusiastic participation from around 18 teams representing Kangra, Chamba, and Hamirpur districts. To encourage the young athletes, Bali announced a contribution of ₹32,000 towards the event and congratulated the organizers for its successful execution.
Malan Panchayat Pradhan Sunil Kumar Jonu welcomed the guests and provided details about the competition. Several dignitaries, including former Block Congress President Singh Chaudhary, were present at the occasion.
Earlier in the day, RS Bali also addressed public grievances at the Jal Shakti Department’s Rest House in Nagrota Bagwan, reaffirming his commitment to responsive governance and community welfare.
