The picturesque Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) stadium in Dharamshala, the headquarters of Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh, is set to come alive with IPL action once again in May.
As part of the IPL 2025 season, three exciting matches will be held at the international cricket stadium in the hill town.
According to the official schedule released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), two of these matches will start at 7.30 pm, while one will be played in the afternoon at 3.30 pm.
Two matches to start at 7.30 pm
The Punjab Kings, who have adopted Dharamshala as their home ground, will first face Lucknow Super Giants on May 4 at 7.30 pm. The second match will take place on May 8 at the same time against Delhi Capitals.
The final match of the series in Dharamshala will be held on May 11 at 3.30 pm, where Punjab Kings will meet Mumbai Indians.
The HPCA Stadium, renowned for its scenic backdrop, has hosted IPL matches in the past, with Punjab Kings playing two games here in 2024 against Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Cricket thrill to return to mountains once again
Preparations for the upcoming IPL matches have already begun at the stadium. This year, the IPL 2025 season will feature a total of 74 matches, including 70 league matches and four playoff encounters.
The tournament will kick off on March 22 with a match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Cricket enthusiasts in Dharamshala can look forward to an exciting month of IPL action as the Punjab Kings bring the thrill of the game to the mountains once again.
