On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, February 15, grand celebrations were held at various places across Nurpur. At the Shiv Temple located in Vinay Gali, devotees performed a sacred havan-yajna and offered the final oblations, expressing their deep faith and devotion to Lord Shiva.
Residents of Vinay Gali came together in unity, singing devotional hymns and bhajans to glorify the divine greatness of Lord Bholenath. The temple witnessed a massive gathering of devotees, who sought blessings from Lord Shiva and partook of the holy prasad.
Apart from this, many other Shiva temples in Nurpur were also filled with large crowds of worshippers, reflecting the spiritual fervor and devotion that marked the festival.
