The Himachal Pradesh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, is determined to complete its full five-year tenure despite economic challenges, said Ajay Verma, Vice-Chairperson of Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC).

Addressing recent remarks by Kangra MLA Pawan Kajal regarding the possibility of President’s Rule in the state, Verma dismissed the claim as unrealistic. She emphasized that the government has consistently taken welfare-oriented decisions since its first day in office, including the restoration of the Old Pension Scheme and approval of new posts in the latest cabinet meeting.

Verma asserted that the government is steadily improving its financial position through its own resources while continuing to prioritize public welfare. She expressed confidence that the government will not only complete its tenure but also return to power in the next elections.

Speaking on local development, Verma highlighted that several decisions have been taken to accelerate growth in the Kangra constituency, ensuring enhanced infrastructure and services for the region.
