Kangana Ranaut, Bollywood star and BJP MP from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, is now stepping into a new venture with the opening of her café, ‘The Mountain Story’, in Manali.
The café, located on the Left Bank of Beas in Prini area, will be officially inaugurated on Valentine’s Day, February 14. For Kangana, this has been a childhood dream, and she has successfully brought this dream project to life.

Kangana shared a video of the café on her Instagram page, showing her working at a table while dressed in traditional hill attire. In the video, she is seen laughing and enjoying tea with local people. In some clips, she can be seen reading a book by the fire and spending time with a lamb.
‘The Mountain Story’ has seating capacity for around 150 persons and is designed in a traditional hill style. While the interior design and images of the café haven’t been made public yet, sources said Kangana Ranaut has ensured that the café’s design stays true to the mountain theme.
Café to feature local dishes from Mandi, Kullu
The café will feature local dishes from Mandi’s Mandayali Dham, along with popular Kullu regional dishes, including siddu and momos. Additionally, the café will offer fast food and bar facilities. The café will be managed by Kangana’s cousin Varun, who will run it professionally.
Kangana shared her excitement in an emotional post, writing, “A childhood dream is coming true, my little café in the lap of the Himalayas. ‘The Mountain Story’ is a love story.” According to Kangana, this café will not just be a place to eat, but will be a celebration of heritage and heart, a tribute to her roots and childhood dream.
‘The Mountain Story’ will not only serve food but will also feature Himalayan architecture, cozy interiors and a perfect blend of mountain flavours, making it a special destination.
