Palampur: Sayna Thakur, a student of Neugal Public School, Bhawarna, has brought immense pride to her school and the state by securing the first position in Himachal Pradesh in the Class 10 board examinations conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education. Shayna scored an outstanding 696 out of 700 marks, placing her at the top of the merit list.

School Chairman Ankur Katoch, Director Ashok Katoch, and Principal Nisha Guleria extended heartfelt congratulations to Shayna and her parents for this remarkable achievement. They also credited the entire teaching staff for their dedication and contribution to her success.

According to Principal Nisha Guleria, Sayna has been a student of the school since nursery and has consistently excelled not only in academics but also in co-curricular activities such as speech competitions, art contests, and various other events.
Shayna shared that her mother is a homemaker and her father, Sandeep Thakur, works at a private hotel in Jalandhar. “My parents have always encouraged me to focus on my studies, and their support has been my biggest motivation,” she said.

She is currently pursuing Non-Medical subjects in Class 11 and aspires to build a career in the field of Computer Science. Shayna credited her success to the school management, her principal, and all her teachers, whom she described as the guiding force behind her achievement.
