Wait is over! TNR’s third edition of Shining Star Awards to begin in Dharamshala on June 2

Dharamshala:The much-awaited third edition of The Newz Radar-Shining Star Awards is all set to kick off in style in Dharamshala on June 2, 2025, finally bringing an end to the eager wait of students across Himachal Pradesh.
The event promises to be a grand celebration of academic excellence, honouring students who have worked hard and achieved stellar results in their board examinations.


This year’s Shining Star Awards are being presented by Guru Study Centre-Dharamshala and are co-powered by Aarni University, HIET Group of Institutions, Graphic Era Deemed to be University-Dehradun, P3Y, Soul Frame-Dharamshala and Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL).


The Newz Radar, the first and only English digital news network based in Himachal Pradesh, has organised two highly successful editions of The Newz Radar-Shining Star Awards in 2023 and 2024.
The first ceremony of 2025 in this prestigious district-level series will be held at Dharamshala where Class X and XII students who have scored 85 per cent and above in their board exams are invited to attend.


Adding to the significance of the event, Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri will grace the occasion as the chief guest. Several other dignitaries, educationists and community leaders will also be present to give this celebratory journey a flying start.


Over 1,000 attendees, including students, parents, teachers and distinguished academics, are expected to attend the event.
“The Newz Radar is once again stepping forward to recognise and applaud the outstanding achievements of young minds across Himachal Pradesh. We connect with students to work with them in the future with a dream of a progressive society,” says Sunil Chadha, Executive Editor of The Newz Radar.
