Teachers Played a Crucial Role in Shaping Civilized Citizens: Ritul Singh

Maharana Pratap Public School Singhwa celebrated its 8th Annual Function with great enthusiasm and joy. The event began with the lighting of lamps, followed by the Saraswati Vandana that marked the start of the cultural program. Ritula Singh, a teacher, attended as the Chief Guest, while Prabhat Sharma (Retired, H.P. Govt.) graced the occasion as the Special Guest.

The school’s students presented a series of impressive performances. The second-grade students performed a patriotic dance to the song “Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani.” The fifth-grade students, Ranjoo and her group, delivered an excellent performance on “Shiv Nuala.” The students from classes sixth and seventh left the audience mesmerized with their performance of “Shiv Tandav.” Students from classes fifth, sixth, and seventh also presented glimpses of the epic Mahabharat, adding more appeal to the program. The school girls performed the “Bengal Dhanuchi Dance,” which brought excitement to the event. The traditional “Rajasthani Kathputli Dance” filled the program with charm.

The school President, Colonel SS Rana, and Principal Shalini Rana honored the Chief Guest by presenting her with a memento.

At the conclusion of the program, Chief Guest Ritula Singh congratulated the school management, teachers, and students for organizing such a spectacular annual event. She praised the performances of the students and mentioned, “Children, no matter where they come from, are all the same. Teachers play a vital role in guiding them to become responsible citizens.” She also highlighted that each child has a unique talent, and it is important to recognize and nurture those talents to help them succeed in their future endeavors.

The school’s Principal, Shivani Rana, read the Annual Report, sharing the school’s achievements throughout the year. She expressed her gratitude to the Chief Guest and the parents for attending the event.
