Jawali (Kangra): Spring Dale Convent Senior Secondary School, Jawali, achieved remarkable success in the recently held national-level art competition organised by Rangotsav Celebration, a prestigious national art initiative that promotes creativity and artistic expression among students across India.
A total of 210 students from Spring Dale participated enthusiastically in a wide range of creative competitions, including handwriting, collage making, cartoon making, greeting card making, tattoo designing, sketching, finger and thumb painting, and mask making. The event saw overwhelming participation from students, who showcased their artistic talents and dedication to the field of visual arts.
The announcement of results brought a wave of joy and pride across the school. Sania, a Class III student, won the first prize award, while Paras Rudraksh Dhawan from Class V was honoured with the prestigious Five Star Brilliant Award.
The school also secured an impressive medal tally with 29 students winning gold medals, 15 silver medals and 10 bronze medals. All other participants were awarded certificates of appreciation by Rangotsav Celebration for their commendable effort and participation.
In recognition of the school’s outstanding performance and 100% result in the competition, Spring Dale Convent Senior Secondary School, Jawali, was awarded the “Excellence Award”. Furthermore, school Principal Dr Rajeev Singh Niryal, HOD Anjana Katoch and teacher Shruti were presented with the “Appreciation Award” by the organisers.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr Rajeev Singh Niryal highlighted the importance of art in education. “Art plays a vital role in a child’s development. It enhances hand-eye coordination, concentration, and cognitive skills. It serves as a medium to express inner thoughts and emotions and provides a creative roadmap to visualize and communicate ideas.”
The entire school community, including President Dr Rajendra Chaudhary, Managing Director Pawan Chaudhary and all committee members, congratulated the students for their exceptional achievements and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in all future endeavours.
They also urged all students to actively participate in such competitions, emphasising that platforms like Rangotsav provide valuable exposure and foster confidence, creativity, and competitive spirit.
