In celebration of Tribal Pride Year, a series of special awareness camps are being organized across Bharmour sub-division by the Agriculture and Horticulture Departments. These joint camps are being held under the guidance of Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Bharmour, Kulveer Singh Rana, with a focus on equipping local farmers and orchardists with seasonal best practices.

Given the onset of winter, the camps are offering valuable departmental tips on pruning techniques, optimal fertilizers, plant demand forecasting, and spray schedules. Sharing details, Dr. Manohar Lal, Horticulture Officer Bharmour, stated that camps have already been held in Bhadra village (Badgram Panchayat) on November 6 and Khani Panchayat on November 7. Upcoming camps are scheduled for Luni village (Ghared Panchayat) on November 10 and Kuthed village (Holi Tehsil) on November 11.

Dr. Lal urged farmers and orchardists to attend these camps and benefit from expert guidance.

As part of the initiative, the Agriculture Department Bharmour is also distributing pea seeds under the ATMA Project and providing technical insights. Key officials contributing to the camps include Horticulture Extension Officers Purushottam Verma and Neha Dhiman, along with Mukesh Kumar (Block Technical Assistant) and Shiv Kumar from the Agriculture Department.
