5 students of New Era School of Science-Chhatri in Shahpur make it to Top 10 in HP board Class 10 exams


KANGRA: Five students of New Era School of Science, Chhatri (Shahpur, Kangra) have made it to the Top-10 in the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) Class 10 examination results that were announced on Thursday (May 15, 2025).


Angel Dhiman and Vanshika Awasthi secured the fifth position in the state by scoring 692 marks out of 700. Angel aspires to become a surgeon and serve the nation. Her father is a shopkeeper and her mother is a teacher. Similarly, Vanshika also dreams of becoming a doctor. Her father, Vijay Awasthi, is a shopkeeper, while her mother, Alaksha, is a homemaker.

Ishita scored 690 marks, securing the seventh position statewide. She aims to be a pilot. Her father is a driver and her mother is an Anganwadi worker.
Yuvanshi and Yadika Chandel both scored 687 marks, earning them the 10th position in the state. Yuvanshi’s father is a software engineer and her mother is a homemaker.


Yadika’s father is an electrician and her mother is also a homemaker. Yuvanshi aspires to become a cardiologist while Yadika also plans to pursue a career in medicine to serve the community.
On this remarkable achievement, school Chairman Kanchan Singh Bhadwal and Principal Sachin Pagrotra extended heartfelt congratulations to the students, teachers and their parents. They praised the hard work and dedication that led to this exceptional success and wished the students a bright future ahead.
