Say No to Drugs: Students Urged to Build a Healthy Society

Dharamshala: A drug awareness program was organized on Saturday at Government Senior Secondary School, Nandarul, emphasizing the importance of staying away from drugs to build a healthy society.

The program was presided over by School Principal Neeraj Garg, who urged students to stay away from drugs and protect their lives from its harmful effects. He highlighted the devastating impact of drug abuse on society, warning that it is ruining lives and endangering future generations.

He also acknowledged the government’s efforts in running anti-drug campaigns to create awareness and encourage people to stay away from substance abuse.

Program in-charge Taras Chand also addressed the gathering, sharing insights into various anti-drug activities being conducted in the school. The event saw participation from students and their parents, reflecting a collective commitment to fighting the menace of drugs.

To further engage students, essay writing, poster-making, and speech competitions were organized, allowing them to express their thoughts on the dangers of drug addiction.

Several faculty members, including Akhil Pratyush, Joginder, Tarachand, Meenakshi, Pooja, Sonu, Sarita Shela, Tilak, Anita, and Sanjay, were present at the event, reinforcing the school’s dedication to promoting a drug-free and healthier future for the youth.
