A review meeting was convened at the Mini Secretariat auditorium in Bharmour under the chairmanship of ADM Bharmour, Kulbir Singh Rana, to assess preparations for the upcoming winter season in the tribal subdivision.

During the meeting, the ADM emphasized that all essential services—electricity, water supply, food grains, roads, and transport—must remain uninterrupted so that the public does not face hardships during the harsh winter months.

He directed the PWD Department to ensure timely repair and readiness of machinery in view of heavy snowfall forecasts, so that roads remain open and any blocked motor routes are cleared immediately.

The Jal Shakti Department was instructed to prepare in advance, as frozen and broken pipelines often disrupt water supply during snowfall. The ADM asked the department to maintain adequate stock of pipes and bleaching powder to avoid inconvenience to residents.

Further, the Rural Development Department was asked to form relief and rescue teams at the panchayat level, including Home Guards, disaster volunteers, and police personnel, to effectively respond to any emergencies.

The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Bharmour Tejram Bhardwaj, Tehsildar Holi Ajay Kumar, Executive Engineer PWD Bhal Chand, Sub-Divisional Ayurvedic Officer Anuradha Sharma, Child Development Project Officer Munish Kumar, Agriculture Subject Specialist Jitendra, along with officials and staff from various departments.
