Preparations for Shri Manimahesh Yatra 2025 Reviewed in Official Meetin

A review meeting was held at the conference hall of the Sub-Divisional Secretariat in Bharmaur to discuss preparations for North India’s renowned Shri Manimahesh Yatra-2025. The meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Chamba Mukesh Repaswal, focused on administrative responsibilities and facilities to be provided to pilgrims during the yatra.

Key discussions covered law and order, road maintenance, transportation and parking management, sanitation, registration of pilgrims, accommodation, food services, water supply, medical assistance, electricity needs, telecommunications, emergency response strategies, and tourism promotion.

Deputy Commissioner Repaswal emphasized the implementation of National Green Tribunal (NGT) guidelines. Detailed deliberations took place to ensure compliance with NGT directives, particularly regarding sanitation facilities and regulations on commercial activities along the pilgrimage route.

Instructions were given to the Public Works Department to accelerate the tarring work on National Highway NH-154 from Bharmaur to Bagga. Additionally, officials were directed to complete improvement and widening of road sections from Hadsar to Gui Nala and Gui Nala to Donali before June 15. A dedicated horse pathway from Tons Ka Goth to Donali and the installation of a new bridge near Donali were prioritized.

Officials were urged to fulfill their responsibilities efficiently, learning from past experiences to enhance services for this year’s pilgrimage. The meeting was attended by SP Abhishek Yadav, ADM Bharmaur Kulbir Singh Rana, Executive Engineer (Jal Shakti) Harminder Chauna, PWD official Sanjay Sharma, Forest Division Officer Navnath Mane, and Block Development Officer Ramanveer Chauhan, among other departmental officers and staff.
