Chamba: The historic town of Chamba turned into a vibrant celebration of academic brilliance as The Newz Radar’s Shining Star Awards 2025 were held on June 8 at the iconic Durbar Hall of Akhand Chandi Palace. Over 2,000 students, parents, and educators gathered to honor Class 10 and 12 students who scored above 90%, transforming the ancient royal court into a hall of modern-day achievers.
One of the most impactful moments of the event was the motivational address by Siddharth Narwani, Assistant Marketing Manager at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun. Narwani congratulated the meritorious students and said, “Coming to a platform like The Newz Radar and receiving recognition in such a historic and respected setting is a remarkable achievement. It’s a moment to cherish and build upon.”
Encouraging students to choose careers aligned with their personal passions rather than societal pressure, Narwani said, “The future belongs to those who pursue their passion with dedication. The biggest decision at this point in life is not just what you will become, but who you want to be.”
Narwani also highlighted Graphic Era University’s strides in education and innovation. With NAAC A+ accreditationand NIRF rankings of #52 in both the University and Engineering categories, the university has emerged as a hub of futuristic education. In 2025, it achieved a record-breaking placement of ₹61.99 LPA by Atlassian, while maintaining strong ties with companies like IBM and Tata Technologies.
He also shared that Graphic Era has been declared India’s first GEN-AI campus powered by AWS, enabling students to integrate next-gen AI and cloud technologies into their academic journeys. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across Engineering, Management, Life Sciences, Humanities, and more.

With support from leaders like Himachal Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Kuldeep Singh Pathania, and voices like Siddharth Narwani guiding students toward meaningful futures, the Shining Star Awards continue to shine as one of the most impactful academic celebrations in the region.
