Mandi : Former Chief Minister and opposition leader Jai Ram Thakur expressed strong criticism of the Congress government in Mandi, highlighting the apparent lack of coordination between the government and the organization. Thakur emphasized the adverse impact on Mandi’s development, citing incomplete projects such as Shivdham and the college building. He also pointed to the state government’s record loan of 12,000 crores within a year and criticized the neglect of Mandi district. Thakur’s remarks come amid controversy over the Solan municipal corporation’s election and Congress state president Pratibha Singh’s alleged unawareness of the government’s celebration plans. The BJP plans to observe a protest day across the state on the completion of one year of the current government, citing concerns about the state’s situation and the need for focused efforts on disaster relief.
