Under a special campaign to locate missing persons—especially women and children—Nurpur Police have successfully traced two missing women within 24 hours, showcasing prompt and effective action.
In the first case, a woman from VPO Talara, Tehsil Fatehpur, District Kangra, who was reported missing on March 8, 2026, was traced by the Nurpur Police Station team.
In the second case, a woman from Village Sanihal, Post Office Ramnagar, Tehsil Indora, District Kangra, who was reported missing at Indora Police Station on March 7, 2026, was safely located by the Indora police team within 24 hours of the complaint. After completing all necessary formalities, both women were handed over to their families.
Nurpur Police reaffirmed their commitment to continue the campaign for tracing missing persons and urged the public to cooperate and report such cases promptly.
