Palampur MLA Ashish Butail conducted a comprehensive tour of Ward 9 in Ghughar and Ward 15 in Bharmaat, engaging directly with residents and inspecting ongoing development works. During his visit to Ghughar, Butail interacted with locals to understand their concerns and directed officials to take prompt action on public grievances.
He emphasized the state government’s commitment to timely resolution of civic issues and announced that all drinking water-related problems in the region would be addressed soon. He also shared that road improvement projects across the constituency would commence shortly, aiming to connect every village and town with reliable transport infrastructure.
Highlighting religious and cultural preservation, Butail inspected the Ravidas Temple in Ghughar and announced ₹10 lakh for its renovation. He instructed officials to coordinate with the local community to restore the temple’s deteriorating structure. He also revealed plans for a new park near the Nala Temple and urged swift completion of the temple’s bathing facility upgrades to enhance pilgrim amenities.
Later, in Ward 15 Bharmaat, Butail inaugurated a newly constructed community hall built at a cost of ₹14 lakh. He stated that the facility would serve as a vital space for social and public welfare activities. Addressing members of the Gorkha community, he acknowledged their invaluable contribution to society and assured continued support for their development.
The MLA also announced that ₹10 crore worth of drinking water schemes are underway in Bharmaat and surrounding areas, which will soon provide clean water to residents. Additionally, the existing sub-health center in Bharmaat will be upgraded into a wellness center to offer improved healthcare services locally.
In his address, Butail reiterated the government’s focus on expanding education, healthcare, roads, water supply, and community infrastructure under the leadership of the Chief Minister. He assured that all pending development projects in Palampur would be completed promptly and new initiatives would be accelerated to ensure inclusive growth.
The event was attended by Palampur Mayor Gopal Nag, Commissioner Dr. Ashish Sharma, Additional Commissioner Vikas Sharma, former Mayor Poonam Bali, Wool Federation Director Trilok Chand, councillors Rakesh Ghoghra, Sanjay Rathore, Nisha Raj, Amit Sharma, ATMA Project Chairman Roshan Lal, and several local residents and officials.
