Palampur MLA Ashish Butail conducted a comprehensive inspection of the preparations for the upcoming Radha Swami Satsang program scheduled to be held on June 21 and 22 at Byas, Parour. Accompanied by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Palampur Netra Meti and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Lokendra Negi, the MLA closely assessed the arrangements related to crowd management, traffic regulation, and law and order to ensure smooth conduct of the two-day event.
During the visit, MLA Butail emphasized the importance of efficient traffic control measures to prevent any inconvenience to local residents as well as the large number of devotees expected to attend the spiritual gathering. He directed the officials to deploy adequate personnel and necessary signage at key junctions to streamline vehicular flow.
The MLA also reviewed cleanliness, sanitation, and emergency response setups, instructing the sub-district administration to complete all required arrangements in a timely and systematic manner. Special focus was placed on ensuring basic amenities such as drinking water, public convenience facilities, and medical aid at the event site.
In addition, Mr. Butail interacted with members of the Radha Swami Satsang organizing committee to understand their logistical requirements and assured them of the administration’s full cooperation in addressing any issues they may encounter.
Terming the Radha Swami Satsang as a significant spiritual event that draws large participation from across the region, the MLA stressed the need for seamless coordination among all departments to uphold public safety and comfort throughout the event days.
The inspection concluded with instructions to monitor progress and conduct a final review prior to the event’s commencement.
