Minerva HimQuest Scholarship Examination rescheduled for October 11 due to bad weather

The HimQuest Scholarship Examination, organised by Minerva Study Circle Ghumarwin and Dharamshala, will now be held on October 11 instead of the earlier scheduled date of September 21.


The management announced the revised schedule during a press conference in Ghumarwin, citing bad weather conditions across Himachal Pradesh as the reason for postponement.


According to chief coordinator Rakesh Chandel and coordinator Swadesh Chandel, the new deadline for submitting applications is September 30. They said the decision was taken to ensure the safety, convenience, and smooth conduct of the examination. The answer key will be uploaded on October 16 and candidates will be able to raise objections until October 18. The final results will be declared on October 28. The exam will be conducted on the lines of NTA (National Testing Agency) standards.

Attractive scholarships and rewards

The examination offers lucrative rewards for meritorious students. The topper from the Class 12 (science stream) category will receive a TVS Ntorq scooter or Rs 1 lakh cash prize along with 100% scholarship. The top rankers in Class 11 (science stream) and Class 10 will be awarded an Apple MacBook Air along with full scholarships.


Students securing positions between second and twentieth rank in each category will also be awarded prizes such as laptops, tablets, smartwatches, digital pads, along with scholarships ranging from 70% to 100%. Those ranking between 21st and 120th place will receive gift hampers and 60% scholarships.


At the district level, toppers will be awarded Rs 5,100 for first place, Rs 3,100 for second, Rs 2,100 for third, Rs 1,100 for fourth and Rs 500 for fifth place, along with additional gifts.

Focus on nurturing talent

The management stated that the initiative is aimed at nurturing talent across Himachal Pradesh and supporting underprivileged but meritorious students in achieving their dreams. Admit cards and other details will be released online shortly.

Shikhar 60 Batch

Through this examination, the institute will also select the top 60 students of Class 12 (Science) for its Shikhar 60 batch. These students will be provided with free coaching by the institute.
