‘One Nation, One Heartbeat’ programme by Mandavya Kala Manch pays tribute to Operation Sindoor martyrs

Event highlights national unity, courage of armed forces


MANDI: In a powerful cultural tribute to the spirit of patriotism and national unity, Mandavya Kala Manch organised a programme titled “One Nation, One Heartbeat” at the Indira Market complex on Wednesday evening.
The event was held under the aegis of the North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala, a unit of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

The programme was dedicated to the brave soldiers martyred in Operation Sindoor, a recent Indian military operation that demonstrated the nation’s resolve against cross-border terrorism. A two-minute silence was observed in honour of the fallen heroes.


Through music, dance, and dramatic performances, the event aimed to rekindle patriotic sentiments and instil a sense of national pride, particularly among the younger generation. Patriotic songs such as “Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon”, “Kar Chale Fida”, and “Sandese Aate Hain” emotionally charged the atmosphere, drawing resounding applause from the audience.

Mandi Mayor Virendra Sharma Bhatt was the chief guest. The event was presided over by Dr Anupama Singh, former Pro Vice-Chancellor of Sardar Patel University, and attended by several dignitaries of the town.
The event opened with a Shiv Vandana by Dinesh Gupta, followed by performances of patriotic songs such as “Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon”, “Dil Diya Hai Jaan Bhi Denge”, and “Sandese Aate Hain”. Artists from Mandavya Kala Manch and students from various schools participate in the grand event.


Addressing the gathering, key dignitaries praised the program for reminding citizens of the sacrifices made by India’s armed forces. Operation Sindoor, they noted, was a clear message that India will not tolerate threats to its sovereignty. The bravery and precision shown by Indian forces was described as exemplary and reflective of a united nation standing firm against any aggression.

Students from leading schools and artists from Mandavya Kala Manch participated in the performances. The event received enthusiastic public response and was appreciated for blending cultural expression with a strong national message.
The program concluded with a resounding message: India stands united, proud, and resilient—forever ready to honour and defend its heroes.
