Man *kills father in Himachal’s Kullu after argument, blow on head proves fatal

A shocking *murder took place on Tuesday (March 4, 2025) morning in Devdhar village near Kullu district headquarters in Himachal Pradesh where a man allegedly *killed his father following a heated argument.
According to information, the incident occurred around 7.30 am when an argument between the father and son escalated.

In a fit of rage, the accused struck his father on the head with a wooden stick, inflicting serious injuries. The victim, identified as Gyan Chand (55), son of Joginder and a resident of Devdhar, succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Following the *murder, the accused, identified as Jagdeep, alias Monu, fled the scene. Upon receiving information, the police rushed to the spot and launched an investigation.

Kullu Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Chauhan said that efforts were underway to nab the accused. The motive behind the crime is yet to be ascertained. The police said they were conducting raids to arrest the accused.
