Churah (Chamba): BJP Member of Parliament from Kangra-Chamba Dr Rajeev Bhardwaj tried to infuse energy and enthusiasm among party workers during a key organisational meet held at Banjraru in the Churah subdivision of Chamba district in Himachal Pradesh.
Addressing a conference of party workers of Baira, Banjraru and Koti mandals, Dr Bhardwaj highlighted the achievements of the Bharatiya Janata Party and underlined its unwavering commitment to development and public welfare.
Calling BJP a disciplined and democratic organisation with over 13 crore members, the MP urged party workers to stay united and follow the party’s directives with dedication.
He emphasised the importance of early preparation for the upcoming panchayati raj elections and called upon the cadre to work towards ensuring the victory of BJP-supported candidates across the region
Says Congress government has no roadmap for development
Taking a dig at the state government, Bhardwaj alleged that the current Congress-led administration in Himachal Pradesh lacks both funds and vision for development.
“The only progress happening in the state is through centrally-sponsored schemes,” he said, accusing the Chief Minister of misleading the public by claiming negligence from the Centre.
He cited substantial financial support coming into the state through NABARD, CRF, ADB, World Bank and various schemes under education and health sectors.
“Despite billions being allocated monthly for roads and infrastructure, the state government blames the Centre for inaction,” he added. “This is the first government known not for what it has done, but for stopping what was already underway.”
Alleges downfall of misgovernance is near
Rallying the workers, Bhardwaj assured them that their dedication would not go in vain. “This phase of administrative decline will soon end,” he declared, accusing the Congress of coming to power on false promises and now losing public trust rapidly.
Churah MLA Hansraj also spoke at the event, launching a fierce attack on the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led government. “There is no trace of governance in the state today. The public has completely lost faith in this regime,” he said, adding that the development achieved during the previous Jairam Thakur government remains unmatched.
The conference witnessed enthusiastic participation from local BJP leaders, mandal presidents and a large number of grassroots workers from across the Churah constituency.
