Bollywood actress and Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut today interacted with the media in her home district, answering every question with unusual calm and confidence. Dressed in a khadi saree, the actor-politician spoke about balancing her film career with her parliamentary responsibilities and reiterated her faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Vocal for Local” campaign.

Speaking to reporters, Kangana said that despite being busy with her political commitments, she continues to work in films as that remains her source of livelihood. “Cinema is my profession and my means of earning. When the Parliament is not in session, I focus on my films,” she said.

She revealed that her upcoming film Circle is currently in the dubbing stage and that she is also working on another project with actor R. Madhavan, which is expected to release next year.

Highlighting her belief in indigenous products, Kangana said the Prime Minister’s message of promoting local goods directly benefits common people. “When our Prime Minister talks about wearing and using local products, we all follow it with pride,” she said, adding that her outfit for the day — a khadi saree and blouse — was a conscious choice.

“Khadi is not only comfortable to wear but also environment-friendly and good for health. Khadi soaps, shampoos, and skincare products are natural and vegan, giving a glow to the skin and a refreshing organic effect,” she added.

When asked about her involvement in the Bihar Assembly elections, the MP said she has not been assigned any role so far. “If given a responsibility, I will fulfill it sincerely,” she said.

Referring to the recent Disha review meeting, Kangana said she took a firm stand against officials for delays in developmental projects. “I have made it clear that pending works must be completed soon. Officers are fully responsible for the delay,” she said, adding that MLAs have also expressed dissatisfaction and warned that administrative action could be taken if progress is not made in the second phase.

Throughout the media interaction, Kangana maintained a composed and polite demeanor, responding to every query with confidence and restraint. Her calm yet firm tone reflected her growing maturity as a parliamentarian who remains equally committed to her work in the film industry.

With her characteristic poise and conviction, Kangana once again made it clear that she continues to balance her roles — both as a public representative and a performer — with equal dedication.
