JP Nadda begins three-day visit to Himachal with religious and public outreach programs

MANDI: BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda will arrive in his hometown Bilaspur tonight for a three- day official visit to the state. He was earlier scheduled to reach Bilaspur this morning, but due to some official engagements in Delhi, his visit was rescheduled for this afternoon.

According to Swadesh Thakur, BJP’s state co-media in-charge, Nadda’s visit this time will focus on religious, social, and cultural programs, along with public outreach and party activities.

As per the revised schedule, Nadda will reach Bilaspur at 9:00 PM and visit the Baba Nahar Singh Dhaulra temple, Dholra, where he will participate in the Shardotsav and Durga Aarti. He will stay overnight at Nadda Niwas in Vijaypur.

It is also learnt that prior to this, he will meet Bilaspur city traders at a local café to discuss the impact of GST, in the presence of state BJP leaders, including State President Rajeev Bindal, Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, and other office bearers.

On October 2, Nadda will meet local residents and party workers at his residence, along with all state BJP leaders. He is also likely to participate in the grand Durga Puja procession and the idol immersion program at Luhnu Ghat. Preparations are underway at the administrative level for his proposed visit to Kullu Dussehra.

Nadda will be the chief guest at the foundation day celebration of AIIMS Bilaspur on October 3, where he will hold meetings with senior officials of the institute and department heads. From there, he will depart directly to Chandigarh, and then fly to Delhi.
