In a groundbreaking collaboration, IIM Indore and Arizona State University (ASU) have unveiled the Global Healthcare Professional Programme (GHPP), an innovative eight-month initiative designed to revolutionize healthcare management. The program incorporates on-campus modules at both IIM Indore and ASU, aiming to equip professionals with essential skills for navigating the complexities of the modern healthcare landscape.
The collaboration, formalized through a Specific Collaboration Agreement signed online on December 12, 2023, brings together the expertise of both institutions. Prof. Himanshu Rai, Director of IIM Indore, and Maria Anguiano, Executive Vice President of ASU Learning Enterprise, marked the occasion. The program encompasses a strategic blend of offline and online sessions, offering a transformative learning experience for doctors, healthcare professionals, executives, and health policy experts.
Prof. Rai highlighted the program’s dedication to confronting healthcare challenges, emphasizing its global nature. The GHPP covers crucial aspects such as healthcare economics, operations, AI, leadership, and more. It unfolds in five stages, featuring on-campus modules, online live classes, and immersive experiences at major Arizona healthcare facilities.
ASU’s involvement brings expertise in healthcare economics, supply chain dynamics, informatics, and AI integration. The program aims to empower healthcare professionals with diverse insights, adaptive leadership skills, and a global perspective. Successful participants will receive a certificate, marking a collaborative milestone in redefining healthcare leadership.
This executive program follows IIM Indore’s earlier initiative, Kritajna, a Leadership Development Programme for frontline doctors during COVID-19 in 2021. The GHPP signals a transformative era in healthcare education, reinforcing IIM Indore and ASU’s commitment to advancing healthcare leadership.
