It is a proud moment for Palampur, as Himvidyarthi Foundation, with the support of the Palampur Municipal Corporation, has achieved a historic milestone. In its very first batch, 17 out of 20 students from the Himvidyarthi Foundation successfully cleared the Sainik School Entrance Exam 2025, bringing recognition to both the region and the institution.
This initiative was envisioned and implemented by Mr. Abhay Jeet Singh Akela, Managing Director and Co-founder of Himvidyarthi Foundation, with strong support from MLA Mr. Ashish Butail and Palampur Municipal Corporation Mayor Mr. Gopal Nag.
“This success is not just ours—it belongs to all of Palampur,” said Mr. Abhay Jeet Singh Akela. “At such a young age—when a child is only in the 5th grade—clearing a national-level competitive exam is no small feat. It requires constant guidance, patience, discipline, and an environment that understands children — and that is exactly what we ensure at Himvidyarthi.”
For the past four years, Himvidyarthi Foundation has been consistently delivering strong academic results, but this year’s success in the Sainik School exams marks a major milestone for the organization.
The foundation’s teaching model focuses entirely on the mental, academic, and physical preparation of students. Children receive personalized mentoring, regular mock tests, interview training, and problem-solving sessions — all designed to ensure their holistic development.
This effort has also bridged the gap between rural and urban areas, providing quality education to children from villages and small towns — an opportunity once limited to big cities.
Himvidyarthi Foundation is now preparing for its next batch, with a special emphasis on discipline, dedication, and direction. The foundation also plans to conduct free workshops, awareness camps in rural schools, and partner with ex-servicemen to better prepare children for defense services.
The success of these 17 students is not just an achievement — it’s a movement. It proves that with the right guidance and effort, even small-town students can compete on the national stage.
