The cleanup saw the enthusiastic participation of 30 to 35 young volunteers from the Himalayan Tribe Foundation. Their efforts underscore the organisation’s belief in minimising plastic use at sacred sites to mitigate future environmental impacts.

The foundation also extended its congratulations to the Kailash Yatra Committee for their exceptional dedication to maintaining cleanliness amidst the demanding conditions of the journey. Building on their commitment to environmental conservation, the Himalayan Tribe Foundation has previously conducted similar cleanups at Shrikhand and is planning future initiatives, including a cleanup at Yula Kanda.
