Shimla/Dharamshala: Feet of Fire, one of the most celebrated dance academies in Himachal Pradesh, was honored at state capital, Shimla, this Monday. The academy showcased its exceptional talent before the Governor of the state, Shiv Pratap Shukla, at The Shining Star event, which was organized to recognize meritorious students who achieved over 90% in their academic studies. This, however, was not the first time Feet of Fire has earned accolades for its outstanding performances.
Feet of Fire Foundation & Dance Studio, established on January 19, 2014, by Amit Bhatia, has rapidly emerged as a beacon of excellence in the dance and performing arts community of Himachal Pradesh. Based in Sunder Nagar, the academy has not only elevated the standards of dance in the region but has also brought significant recognition to the state through numerous national and international achievements.
Amit Bhatia: The Visionary Behind Feet of Fire
Amit Bhatia, the Chief Managing Director of Feet of Fire Foundation, is a multifaceted personality—an actor, choreographer, social worker, and artist promoter. His contributions to the arts have earned him the prestigious title of Youth Icon of Himachal Pradesh for 2021-22. With a career that includes collaborations with renowned platforms like T-Series and Zee Music, Amit has choreographed cultural events, including the prestigious RDC events for NCC. His work with notable figures such as Shahid Kapoor in the movie Jersey and Baba Hansraj Raghuwanshi in music videos further highlights his versatility and talent.

Feet of Fire Foundation has consistently excelled in major events and festivals across India, such as the Mandi Mahashivratri, Manali Winter Carnival, and the Nalwar Festivals of Bilaspur and Sunder Nagar, securing first prizes in each competition. The academy’s involvement in the United Indian Dance Camp (UIDC), alongside Bollywood choreographers like Terence Lewis, Remo D’Souza, and Tiger Shroff, set a world record for the largest gathering of dance students, with over 2,500 participants.

Feet of Fire Foundation is preparing to organize the biggest beauty pageant in Himachal Pradesh—*Mr. & Miss Northern*. The auditions for this grand event will span multiple locations, including Mumbai, Chandigarh, and several cities in Himachal Pradesh, such as Shimla, Solan, Sundernagar/Mandi, Chamba, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Kangra, and Dharamshala. Miss Universe India, Shweta Sharda, will be a special guest at the event. The first audition, held in Shimla on July 29, 2024, was a massive success, and upcoming auditions are planned in Dharamshala, Kullu, Mandi, Chandigarh, Jammu, and Mumbai.
