The weather is likely to remain clear in Himachal Pradesh till April 9. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be sunshine during this period in most parts and the temperature will increase.

Despite a forecast, there was no rainfall in the state due to the weakness of the western disturbance that became active three days ago. It only drizzled at isolated places.

A western disturbance is becoming active again on April 10. However, the rainfall is likely to have its biggest impact on April 13. On Saturday, a drop of about 1 degree Celsius was recorded in the maximum temperature in the state.

A drop of 1 to 2 degrees Celsius has been recorded in the minimum temperature. Due to the heat in the plains, the number of tourists entering Himachal has increased.

The occupancy in hotels in the state is said to be more than 70 per cent over the weekend.
Meanwhile, houses have been damaged due to the earthquake that occurred on the night of April 4 in Pangi tribal sub-division of Chamba district.
