Himachal Public Service Commission Chairman lists job panel’s achievements in annual report to Governor

Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Chairman Capt Rameshwar Singh Thakur (retd) presented the 54th annual report of the commission for the year 2024-25 to Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan in the presence of other members of the commission, including Col Rajesh Kumar Sharma (retd) and Dr Anju Sharma.


Commission Secretary Nivedita Negi and Joint Secretary Chhavi Nanta were also present on the occasion. The Governor congratulated all the members, officers and employees of the commission for efforts put in by them in achieving the objectives of the commission during this period.


Capt Rameshwar Singh Thakur apprised the Governor that in recent years, the commission has undertaken several Institutional reforms aimed at enhancing efficiency, strengthening transparency and adopting technological solutions in line with the digital era. He said these measures have helped reinforce public confidence in our functioning and reaffirmed the Commission’s role as a beacon of trust.

“The present report reflects our collective commitment to upholding constitutional values and promoting good governance”, he said. CP Verma, Secretary to the Governor, was also present on the occasion.
