The fourth day of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly’s winter session will begin at 2 pm on Monday (December 1, 2025) with question hour, where Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi is expected to reply to questions on the rescue of hundreds of stranded pilgrims during the Manimahesh Yatra.

Chamba MLA Neeraj Nayar has sought detailed information on the evacuation operation and the expenditure incurred.

With the BJP continuing its decision to boycott the Revenue Minister throughout the session, the Opposition may stage a walkout as proceedings begin.

The House is also set to witness sharp exchanges over robotic surgery, with three BJP MLAs having raised questions on the machines and equipment purchased for the facilities.

After question hour, bills approved by the Governor will be tabled in the House. Nagrota Bagwan MLA RS Bali will raise the issue of shortage of specialist doctors at Dr Rajendra Prasad Medical College and Hospital, Tanda, seeking a discussion on the matter. BJP MLA Dr Janak Raj is slated to speak on his notice regarding implementation of the Minimum Wages Act.

Debates lined up on rising crime

The session will conclude with discussions on the hardships faced by disaster-hit families, the rise in criminal cases and growing drug abuse in the state. Before this, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will present bills related to recruitment and service conditions of state employees and amendments to the Himachal Bhumi Sampada Act.
