Health camp organised at Ayush Arogya Mandir, Lamu on Tribal Pride Day

In celebration of the fifth Tribal Pride Day, a one-day health camp was successfully organised at Ayush Arogya Mandir, Lamu, Bharmour, Chamba district. The initiative was conducted under the guidance of Sub-Divisional Ayush Officer Dr. Anuradha Sharma.

Camp Coordination and Medical Oversight
The camp was led by Dr. Pooja B, BAMS, MD (Shalakya Tantra), who provided expert consultation and Ayurvedic guidance throughout the day.

Patient Statistics and Diagnoses
A total of 48 patients were examined during the camp. The breakdown of health conditions included:

  • 9 patients with hypertension
  • 13 patients with diabetes
  • 6 patients with eye-related ailments
  • 20 patients with general health issues

Services Provided
All patients received appropriate medical consultation, free medicines, and health advice based on the principles of the Ayush system.

Community Response
Local residents appreciated the efforts of the Ayush Department and expressed hope for the continued organization of such camps in the future.
