The Horticulture Department of Bharmour has organised a five-day beekeeping training camp for local residents, inaugurated on Friday by Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Bharmour, Kulveer Singh Rana, at the Gram Panchayat Bharmour auditorium.
The camp will run from November 28 to December 2, aiming to encourage unemployed youth to adopt beekeeping as a sustainable livelihood option. Speaking at the event, ADM Rana extended his best wishes to the Horticulture Department and urged participants to explore beekeeping as a viable business opportunity.
Subject expert Dr. Manohar Lal from the Horticulture Department, Bharmour, informed that 50 farmers are participating in the training. Over the course of five days, they will learn essential techniques and practices of modern beekeeping.
