The viral footage shows a lone priest standing inside the Hanuman temple in Kullu, just inches away from the roaring floodwaters of the Beas. While violent currents rage barely a few feet from him, the priest appears composed, holding his ground inside the temple — a silent yet powerful picture of unshaken faith.
Behind him, the river crashes with ferocity, swallowing everything in its path. Bridges tremble, debris floats by and the landscape bears testimony to the devastation caused by the flash floods.

Experts suggest that the temple’s location on elevated rock formations may have shielded it from the floods, but locals insist that only Lord Hanuman’s blessings could have ensured such survival.
“Everything around was shaken, but the temple stood firm and the priest inside remained safe. This is no less than God’s miracle,” said a resident of Kullu.
