Chamba: Against the majestic backdrop of the Durbar Hall at Akhand Chandi Palace, The Newz Radar’s Shining Star Awards 2025 unfolded in a grand and deeply inspiring celebration of academic excellence. Held on June 8, the event honoured meritorious students from across Chamba district who scored above 90% in Classes 10 and 12, in the presence of over 2,000 attendees, including parents, educators, civil servants, and community leaders.

The highlight of the ceremony was the motivational address by Dr. Manish Kumar Srivastava, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Aarni University, Kathgarh (Kangra), who was invited as the special guest. His words, filled with wisdom and empathy, struck a deep chord with the young achievers and their families.

“These awards are not the final destination—they are milestones,” said Dr. Srivastava. “In today’s world, staying morally upright, resilient, and self-aware is more important than ever. And if ever in doubt about your career path, don’t hesitate to consult mentors or career counselors—we at Aarni University are always ready to help.”

Urging students to align their goals with passion and purpose, he emphasized that every profession carries its own dignity. “There is greatness in every field—be it technology, agriculture, civil services, or entrepreneurship. What matters is your connection with it,” he remarked, drawing strong applause from the audience.

Dr. Srivastava also highlighted Aarni University’s commitment to nurturing real-world skills and values through interdisciplinary learning, student support systems, and a strong emphasis on ethical leadership.

The Shining Star Awards, now a proud tradition by The Newz Radar, aim to celebrate merit and encourage the youth to dream big without commercial or competitive pressure. Organisers reiterated that no donations or sponsorships influence the event—its sole aim is to recognise and motivate talent.

The event was further elevated by the presence of Himachal Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Kuldeep Singh Pathania, who lauded the role of authentic media and education forums in strengthening democracy and society.
For Chamba’s bright young minds, this day will be remembered not just as a celebration of marks, but as a call to discover their purpose—and pursue it with courage and clarity.
