Dharamshala: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has nullified the exam for students found cheating in the 10th and 12th-grade examinations. A committee was formed by the board to investigate cases of cheating, with 76 students summoned to present their side. After hearing the students’ perspectives, the board decided to cancel the exams where cheating was detected.

Dr. Major Vishal Sharma, Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, disclosed that the results for all three subjects of the 12th-grade examination will be announced simultaneously, possibly by April 30. Within 24 hours of result declaration, detailed mark sheets (DMCs) of 12th-grade students will be available on the digital locker.

Additionally, the results for 10th-grade examinations will be announced, followed by the declaration of the SOSE’s 8th, 10th, and 12th-grade results. Detailed mark sheets (DMCs), migration certificates, and passing certificates for students passing the 10th and 12th-grade exams in 2023 have already been made available on the digital locker. From 2024 onwards, DMCs, migration certificates, and passing certificates for 10th and 12th-grade students will also be accessible on the digital locker. Furthermore, efforts are underway to make the data of the last 10 years of out-of-school students for the 10th and 12th-grade examinations available on the digital locker.
