As part of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the first phase of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan 2025’ turned Dalhousie Cantonment into a vibrant celebration of national pride. The cantonment echoed with patriotic fervour as students of PM Shri Cantt Board Middle School, school staff, Cantonment Board officials, and Army personnel came together in a spirited display of unity and devotion to the nation.

Tiranga Rakhis: A Heartfelt Tribute to Soldiers
In a touching gesture, students and staff tied handmade Tiranga Rakhis on the wrists of Army officers and soldiers stationed in the cantonment. These rakhis, crafted with creativity and love, symbolized deep respect and gratitude for India’s brave defenders. The initiative beautifully blended tradition with patriotism, making it a memorable moment of emotional connection.

‘Tiranga Rakhi Letter Campaign’ Spreads Nationwide
Extending the sentiment beyond Dalhousie, students also participated in the ‘Tiranga Rakhi Letter Campaign’, writing heartfelt letters to soldiers posted across the country. These letters, filled with admiration and patriotic emotion, gave voice to young hearts honouring the sacrifices of the armed forces.

The school also hosted Rangoli and Painting Competitions, where students showcased their artistic talents around themes of patriotism, the national flag, freedom fighters, and the Indian Army. The vibrant rangolis and emotionally resonant paintings captivated all attendees, reflecting the depth of national pride among the youth.
