The tribal region of Bharmour in Himachal Pradesh witnessed an intense cold wave on Tuesday night, with temperatures plunging below freezing. The extreme chill caused household water pipes to freeze, and in several homes, pipes even burst due to the severe frost.
On Wednesday, icy winds continued to sweep across the area, making it one of the coldest days of the season as described by local residents. People were seen gathering around fires at various places to keep warm.
