Dalhousie has witnessed continuous snowfall over the past two days, attracting a large number of tourists who have been arriving in the hill town to enjoy the snow. While the snowfall has enhanced the natural beauty of Dalhousie and brought relief from dry weather conditions, it has also created challenges related to electricity, water supply, traffic, and general movement.

Keeping in view the difficulties faced by tourists and local residents, the Dalhousie Municipal Council, under the leadership of Junior Engineer Sanjeev Sharma, has been actively engaged in clearing snow from all municipal roads. JCB machines have been deployed since the day before yesterday to remove snow, ensuring smooth movement and allowing people to enjoy the snowy conditions safely.

Dalhousie Police, under the supervision of DSP Mayank Sharma, have also been working diligently for the past two days to regulate traffic. Due to the heavy influx of tourists, traffic congestion has been reported at several places, and the police are making continuous efforts to keep traffic flowing smoothly.

SDM Dalhousie, Anil Bhardwaj, has appealed to tourists to avoid visiting high-altitude and slippery areas and to strictly follow the guidelines issued by the administration. He urged visitors to enjoy the snowfall responsibly and prioritize their safety.

Meanwhile, the Public Works Department, Electricity Department, and Water Supply Department in Dalhousie are also functioning with full preparedness to ensure that residents and tourists do not face problems related to road connectivity, electricity, or water supply.
