Hamirpur – The Elementary Education Department is set to fill 193 posts of Shastri teachers through batch-wise recruitment in various districts of the state. This recruitment drive is unique as Shastri interviews will be conducted simultaneously in all districts on November 17th and 18th. Eligible candidates are required to participate in the recruitment process of their respective district, eliminating the need to travel to other districts.
Candidates will need to fill a proforma in which they will prioritize the district they wish to be appointed in. This step allows eligible candidates to specify an alternative district for appointment if they do not get selected in their preferred one. This approach aims to streamline the recruitment process and reduce the necessity for candidates to travel to distant districts for interviews.
The recruitment will be conducted batch-wise in nine districts of the state, with no posts to be filled in Bilaspur, Chamba, and Lahaul-Spiti districts. The available positions include various categories, such as general, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST.
