Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony Held at Government Arya College, Nurpur

The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was organized at Government Arya College, Nurpur on Saturday, March 14, 2026, under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Thakur. The event was graced by Executive Director Rajil Vyas as the Chief Guest.

The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before Goddess Saraswati, followed by a Saraswati Vandana presented by the students, seeking blessings for the successful conduct of the event. Students of the college also presented a variety of colorful cultural performances, adding enthusiasm to the ceremony.

On the occasion, Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Thakur presented the annual report of the college, highlighting the major academic, cultural and sports achievements of the institution during the session 2025–26.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Rajil Vyas emphasized the importance of value-based education along with quality learning. He congratulated the students for their excellent achievements and wished them success in their future endeavors. He stated that education is not limited to academic knowledge but also plays a vital role in the personal and social development of an individual. According to him, values, ethics and moral education are essential components of a strong educational system. He also highlighted the significant role of parents and teachers in the overall development of students and encouraged students to set clear goals and work hard in this competitive era.

During the ceremony, students who performed exceptionally well in academics during the academic session 2025–26 in the streams of Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational subjects were honored. A large number of students including Neena, Anshita, Aarti Sumbariya, Anjali Devi, Tamanna Devi, Ruchi, Kushagra, Usha Devi, Siya Verma, Dimple Kumari, Kanika, Simran Atra, Neha, Riya Devi, Monica Devi, Palak Devi, Kajal, Arpita, Aman Deep, Prachi Sharma, Ananya, Aarushi, Narendra, Ragini, Sonia, Gurpreet Kaur, Saloni, Nikita, Priyanka Kumari, Sania, Sushma Kumari, Damini, Muskan, Sheetal Sharma, Mansi Atri, Nitika, Kriti, Payal Jamwal, Ameesha Jarial, Priya Rani, Jyoti, Vedika, Rupali Devi, Suhani, Sumit, Bablu, Gulshan Sharma, Bharti, Anuj Sahotra, Nitin, Vansh Kumar, Sahil, Kavya Kumari, Shruti Chaudhary, Tanya, Ashutosh, Kanishka, Krishma Sharma, Payal, Kanika Rana, Vinakshi Pathania, Rajat Kumar, Mahak Rana, Ishita Verma, Aakriti Sharma, Niharika, Palak Sharma, Nazni, Sahajdeep Kaur, Samiksha, Shruti Dhiman, Poonam Chaudhary, Vanshika, Sugandhi, Samriddhi Sharma, Akshita, Arjun Sharma, Gaurav, Kritika Jarial, Jia, Mansi Rana, Kamaljeet, Sagar Singh, Aniket Kumar, Rahul Singh, Suhana, Muskan and Bhumika Devi secured first, second and third positions in various subjects and categories.

In the field of sports, Karunesh, Nishant Rana, Nandini Devi, Ramandeep, Mandeep, Siya, Tanisha and Priya Chaudhary won medals in athletics and wrestling.

Students were also honored for their outstanding contributions in various activities and organizations, including Rohit Kumar, Chahat Kanth, Palak, Vansh Kumar, Dimple Kumari, Arun Manhas, Sahil, Aarush, Ajit Singh, Shruti Sharma, Tanisha, Pratham Katoch, Ankita Dhiman, Bhavya Singh, Sunil, Anuradha, Saloni, Vinay Kumar, Kanishka, Divya Sen, Shamli Thakur, Arpita, Vanshika, Riya Chaudhary, Monica Devi, Neena Kumari, Kasak Mahajan, Sandeep Kaur, Ritik Sharma, Mansi Rana, Suhana, Sagar Singh, Sonia and others.

Additionally, students including Shamli Thakur, Karunesh, Mandeep Kaur, Simran Kaundal, Vanshika, Rohit, Pallavi, Sneha, Palak Devi, Chandni, Muskan, Prachi Sharma and Savita were honored with various community-sponsored scholarships.

On this occasion, Dr. Sachin Kumar, Principal of Government College Dehri, along with the President and members of the PTA and OSA attended the event as special guests.

Among the faculty members present were Dr. Diljeet Singh, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Anil Kumar, Dr. Manjeet Singh, Prof. Reema Kumari, Prof. Alka, Prof. Shashi Wala, Prof. Kiran Wala, Prof. Surjeet Singh, Prof. Surjeet Kumar, Prof. Shiv Kumar, Dr. Rohit Kumar, Dr. Sohan Kumar, Dr. Manoj Kumar and Dr. Satya Prakash. The entire college staff and members of the V-Vaak staff were also present during the ceremony.
