The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Bharmour, on Monday. The event was graced by Kulveer Singh Rana, Additional District Magistrate, Bharmour, as the chief guest.
School Principal Anju Bala extended a warm welcome to the chief guest and honored him with a traditional shawl and cap. The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana.
Addressing the students, the chief guest emphasized that interest, discipline, and hard work are the keys to achieving success. He recalled that the girls’ school was established in the 1950s through the efforts of Param Tapasvi Shri 108 Digambar Jai Krishna Giri Ji Maharaj, with the vision of educating girls. Today, the institution has grown to provide education up to the 10+2 level.
He praised the students for excelling not only in academics but also in sports and cultural activities, bringing glory to the school. Principal Anju Bala presented the annual report before the chief guest and parents.
The chief guest lauded the school management and staff for organizing such a remarkable program in a short span of time. The audience was deeply impressed by the students’ cultural performances. He further motivated the girls to continue their hard work in the upcoming examinations.
The ceremony concluded with the felicitation of meritorious students by the chief guest.
Among the distinguished guests present were Krishna Pakhretia, School Management Committee Chairperson Babli Devi, Lecturer Kuldeep Sharma, Saroj Pakhretia, Surender Patial, Ashok Thakur, Balak Ram, Ranjana, Surinder Singh, and Suresh Kumar.
