Anaita Sharma of Government Girls Senior Secondary School at Palampur in Kangra district has done the region proud by securing the fourth position in the Arts stream in the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) Class 12 results 2025, which were announced on Saturday.
Anaita has secured 478 marks out of 500 (95.6%). Born on November 25, 2006, she is the daughter of Ashok Kumar Sharma and a resident of village and post office Bharwana (Bandu) in Palampur.
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) declared the results for the Class 12 annual examinations on Saturday (May 17, 2025). The overall pass percentage this year stood at 83.16%, with girls significantly outperforming boys in the merit list.
The results were announced in the presence of Hemraj Bairwa, Deputy Commissioner of Kangra and Chairman of the HPBOSE, along with Board Secretary Dr Vishal Sharma.
A total of 75 students made it to the overall top-10 merit list, out of which 61 are girls and 14 are boys, highlighting the continued academic excellence of female students in the state.
